Diane's "Ideas You've Already Heard Of But Bear Repeating" Ways to

This one does take a little bit of thought, but only until you get in the habit. Just stop every now and then, take a look around and see if what you are doing can be done better or differently. Like cloth versus paper napkins. A little bit of thought but a great way to reduce.

Again a little bit of thought could go a long way. Take a look at what you throw away everyday. Can any of that be changed, saved, etc. How about a reusable lunch box or bag in lieu of a paper bag or small reusable containers instead of baggies?

Come on … these days it couldn't be any easier! Put it in that little blue or green container and drag it down to the curb once a week. And you're going to the curb anyway to bring the trash so what's the biggie?
